The Inventor

The inventor, Jenan Kazim, was born in Cyprus in 1955 and as a boy he had a keen interest how the things around him worked. Jenan graduated from Loughborough University as an Aeronautical Engineer and completed his Masters Degree in Civil Engineering at the City University, London.

Having a successful career as an aeronautical and offshore engineer, Jenan has applied his knowledge to his invention. Precise engineering and mathematical equations are used to ensure the KAZbrella outperforms a conventional umbrella whilst keeping its familiar aesthetics and usability. This has not yet been achieved by any other umbrella designer.

Jenan now works in the KAZbrella office with his wife and daughters developing new innovations.
